About Sara

I am a wife, the mother of three girls, and an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist.  I earned a Bacherlor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Calvin College and received a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Michigan University.  I have experience working in schools and private clinics with preschool and elementary students.  After my oldest was diagnosed with dyslexia, I became very interested in literacy intervention. I completed training to use the Orton-Gillinham method in order to specifically support and work with students with dyslexia and other reading disabilities.
